Patient Admission Kits

Overview

  • It's fun, easy and brings your group together for a good cause!
  • These kits contain essential items for patients who are recovering from surgery.
  • The kits are a great activity idea for Sunday school groups, youth groups, school charity projects or as a gift in honor of someone.

 

Your Opportunity:

  • Group assembly - Collect and assemble items for a predetermined number of kits, including $5/kit donation for shipping, tote bag and other projected costs. Then send the assembled kits Mercy Ships International Operations Center, where they will be shipped to the Africa Mercy.
  • Donate Items Only - Collect as many items on the list as possible and send them to the Mercy Ships International Operations Center, where they will be added to other donations and assembled into kits.
  • Cash Donation - Rather than assembling Patient Admission Kits, your group may choose to make a financial contribution to purchase a certain number of kits. Each kit has an estimated value of $30, which includes shipping, tote bag and other projected costs.

  1. Getting Ready - get the approval from the appropriate leader(s); decide on an assembly option; use the Event Planning Guide resource tool
  2. Register & Organize your event - complete the on-line registration form
  3. Promote your event - using our promotional resources available
  4. Run the Event - time for fellowship and fun
  5. Send the Kits and/or donations to Mercy Ships

What Your Church or Group Recieves

If your group provides 100 or more kits, the Anchor Church manager will work with you to coordinate the feedback on your project. Your group will recieve regular updates on the ship's patients and follow their amazing story of transformation. It's a great tool to engage and create excitement on your outreach program.
