$1,095.00 plus $250.00 project fee

Nestled high in the Guatemalan mountains lies the small Mayan community of Los Robles. Here you will find Safe Homes for Children. Approximately 250 people live and work here, and Mercy Teams is partnering to bring Work and Service teams and Medical teams to serve these wonderful people.
Medical teams will serve in several Mayan villages to offer medical care, community health education, early childhood development, and basic health care – all of which are desperately needed. In the spring of 2010, construction on a building for a new clinic started. Working side-by-side with the local community, you may assist in painting, building shelves, laying tile, plumbing, or other maintenance.
Accommodations will either be in a hotel with shared rooms or in a private, gated home with dorm style housing. All meals and incountry transportation are provided.
