Requires the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals as well as the ability to write routine reports and correspondence. One must also effectively communicate with subordinates and senior management in clear English and hold at least Certificate of Competency according to STCW 95 Section A-III/1. Able Seaman

Candidate should possess a Certificate of Competency according to STCW 95 Section A-II/4 for Deck Rating and a practical and theoretical knowledge with regard to use of hand tools and portable power tools. Deck Rating
