Floating Hospital Delivers Hope
Then, the girls’ family heard about Mercy Ships, a floating hospital with volunteer doctors and nurses who provide life-changing, free surgeries. “We didn’t know the hospital was actually in the ship,” their father said. “We’ve never been to a ship before.”
With family by their side, Salamatou and Mariama received an operation that changed their entire lives. After successful surgery, today the girls laugh, run and play, like every child should.
