Floating Hospitals.
Vessels of Hope.

Globally, 5 billion people lack access to safe surgical care. In response to this staggering statistic, Mercy Ships has provided free surgeries and medical care to people in need for 40 years. Because over 50% of the world’s population lives within 100 miles of a coast, our civilian hospital ships are the best way to reach more people and make the greatest impact!

40+ Years of Hope and Healing

Lives Transformed,
Thanks to You

When Ulrich first came onboard our hospital ship, our volunteer nurses had never seen a case so severe. The 12-year-old boy’s muscles had not developed as fast as his bones, leaving his legs bent drastically backward. His mother worried for his future but could never afford the surgery he needed.

Today, after a free surgery from Mercy Ships, he stands tall and proud. You can help another child like Ulrich today!
